Emergency Medical Responder Course Overview
The Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) course is designed for high school and college students who are interested in gaining foundational knowledge and skills in emergency medical care. This course provides essential training for individuals who may be the first to arrive at the scene of an emergency, equipping them with the tools necessary to assess and respond to various medical situations and for preparing students for the NREMT-EMR State Exam.
*** Students who successfully complete the course and receive their EMR Course Certificate of completion, will be given instruction on how to register for the NREMT-EMR Exam. When passed successfully will satisfy State EMR requirements to be certified as an EMR***
