Babysitter Bootcamp
Are you a student looking for ways to make a little extra money for the Summer or on weekends? Are you a teen, trying to start your own business caring for children and want to stand out from the rest? If so, this program is for you!
My Red Cross Babysitter Training Course is Babysitting Basics for youths 11 to 16.
Over the course of 4 and a half hours this course will equip students with solid babysitting skills through hands on activities, informative videos and in-depth discussions. We will cover basic childcare, safety and what to do in an emergency. The course also covers how to start a babysitting business, for those looking to make their side hustle stand out from the crowd. Students will also have access to a Babysitter App for FREE. Upon completion of the course to guide learners in their journey as a Certified Babysitter provider!
Course materials are included with each class as students will receive a training manual and is eligible to be certified at course conclusion. Upon successful completion of course exam, students will be able to print out a certificate, to share with their potential employers! Certification is good for 2 years! Topics we cover during the course

Child Development
Child Development focuses on understanding and supporting the physical, cognitive, social, and emotional growth of infants and children preparing students for their role as a Certified Babysitter. We will focus on topics like child behavior management and age-appropriate activities.

How to Care for them
This course will cover feeding, diapering, picking up and holding children, safety and emergency response, to name just a few of the topics we will cover!

First Aid
The Basic First Aid portion of class will cover providing immediate care for injuries or illnesses before professional medical help arrives, focusing on procedures like cleaning wounds, applying bandages and recognizing when to seek further assistance.

How to start your own business babysitting
If you want leverage and credibility, taking the Babysitting course will prepare you to become a trusted and in-demand sitter and then market your services. *An Advanced Child Care course is also available*
